About Jason
Jason is a marketer and entrepreneur who has spent his career driving growth for a variety of startups, media & technology companies, and non-profit organizations.
Jason grew up in Potomac, Maryland and has lived in New York City since 2002. He graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a degree in journalism and psychology. After college, he spent four years working in the marketing department at the Jewish National Fund (JNF), a non-profit organization.
In 2011, Jason decided to pursue an MBA at Columbia Business School and spent his summer internship at Google on the YouTube Product Marketing team. After graduating, Jason joined Dailymotion — a French-owned video platform — where he oversaw the company’s US marketing efforts. In 2015, Jason began a role at Discovery Inc. as the Director of Digital Marketing, where he oversaw app and website marketing for nine television networks — including Discovery, TLC, and Animal Planet.
Currently, he is working as a Senior Director of Program & Originals Marketing for Paramount+ where he develops and executes global 360 marketing campaigns to drive subscriptions and content engagement on the streaming service.
When he’s not working, Jason can likely be found eating pizza. Over the past 15 years, he has reviewed hundreds of pizzerias around the world on his blog, IDreamOfPizza. He is also the founder of theĀ NYC Pizza Run — an annual charitable event that combines running and eating — and hosts the pizza podcast All Things Pizza. His pizza ventures have been featured in various publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.
He currently resides in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
