About Jason

Jason is a marketer and entrepreneur who has spent his career driving growth for a variety of startups, media & technology companies, and non-profit organizations.

Jason grew up in Potomac, Maryland and has lived in New York City since 2002. He graduated from New York University with a degree in journalism and psychology. After college, he spent four years working in the marketing department at the Jewish National Fund (JNF), a non-profit organization.

In 2011, Jason decided to pursue an MBA at Columbia Business School and spent his summer internship at Google on the YouTube Product Marketing team. After graduating, Jason worked at a number of media companies including Discovery — where he oversaw app and website marketing for nine television networks (Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet) and Paramount –where he developed and executed global marketing campaigns to drive subscriptions and content engagement for the company’s streaming service. In 2024, he decided to pivot to a new industry: co-working. He currently oversees growth marketing at Industrious.

When he’s not working, Jason can likely be found eating pizza. Over the past 20 years, he has reviewed hundreds of pizzerias around the world on his blog, IDreamOfPizza. He is also the founder of the NYC Pizza Run — an annual charitable event that combines running and eating — and hosts the pizza podcast All Things Pizza. His pizza ventures have been featured in various publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.

He currently resides in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
